The Malta information Technology Agency (MITA) under the direction of the National Cyber Security Strategy Steering Committee within the remit of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation, and in collaboration with entities representing local SMEs is at the moment organising a number of Focus Group sessions.
The MEA members’ Focus Group Session, entitled:
‘Cyber Security from the eyes of the Maltese Employer and the Employees within the SME context’,
is going to be held on Friday 26th October 2018, from 14.00 to 16.00 at the Malta Employers Association (MEA)’s offices, 35/1, South Street Valletta.
The Session shall aim to elicit and assess the level of cyber security awareness amongst SMEs in Malta, primarily based upon related experiences and perceptions within the sector itself. It shall also aim to identify how and in what ways can SMEs be effectively engaged to ensure their preparedness in cyber security on an ongoing basis.
Once all Focus Group sessions have been held, an event will be organised to present the outcomes to all SMEs and to propose engaging initiatives and opportunities in the process.
