The Mobile Government Strategy aims to enable the accessibility of public services from mobile devices. Such initiatives aim to reduce bureaucracy, facilitate processes and improve the quality of public services. With this aim, The Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses has created a mobile application – Enterprise Incentives - in order to provide local enterprise with an overview of all the incentives being offered. This App allows users to browse through local and EU funded grants, tax credits, awards and other initiatives (such as crowdfunding, loan guarantees and rent subsidies) which aim to assist businesses in Malta to set-up, innovate and grow. Users are urged to search through the information, record their preferences according to specific sectors or business stages and request further information from the listed contact persons.
