The impact of COVID-19 has created an extremely challenging time for the workforce. If during this period, staff training or up-skilling could benefit your company and its employees, Jobsplus has just launched the 2nd call for Investing in Skills. Here's what's new:

  • ·       Training cost subsidy increased from €25.00 to €25.70
  • ·       Wage cost subsidy increased from €4.90 to €5.15
  • ·       Submission of applications at least 7 calendar days before the training starts instead of 21 calendar days. While employers can choose to start training after the acknowledgment of the application, Jobsplus will not be held responsible if the application is subsequently deemed ineligible.
  • ·       Due to the COVID-19 situation we are now accepting applications and claims for reimbursements through emails from the contact or delegated persons on [email protected] even if these are not signed and in original.

The revised IIS Guidance Notes for the 2nd Call of the Investing in Skills Scheme can be accessed on the IIS webpage:
