The Customs Department had originally committed itself that, by the first quarter of 2021, all services of the Customs Import System would become available on a 24/7 basis.
The Department, however, has now decided:
?? to anticipate the implementation of this measure by several months, meaning that this measure will be fully implemented by the fourth quarter of 2020; and
?? in the meantime, to extend and make available the current system on a 12/7 basis.
For this reason, as from the 6th July, 2020., all services of the Customs Import System are being extended and are being made available every day, from 08:00 hrs till 20:00 hrs, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays included.
