Going international, industrial property rights and EU funding
TradeMalta would like to invite you to an online seminar 'Internationalisation of SMEs - Industrial Property', that will be happening on the 22 November 2021 from 10.00 to 11.35. The seminar is being organised by the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and the Commerce Department of the Ministry for the Economy and Industry (Malta), as part of 2021 Malta SME Week.
Speakers from the Commerce Department, EUIPO, and TradeMalta will be looking at the Intellectual Property rights that companies need to use and manage to support the process of internationalisation. The discussion will also highlight why for small businesses that choose to expand internationally, protecting IP rights is not only useful, but indispensable to avoid or mitigate risks associated with IP infringement. In addition, participants can find out what EU funding is available for their business.
