The Malta Communications Authority is also authorised to issue:
- Authorisation to operate a communications network
- Authorisation for a public telephone service
- Authorisation for the provision of distribution services related to radio and tv
- Authorisation for the provision of services related to public electronic communications
- Authorisation for the provision of non-accessible to public, services related to electronic communications
- Authorisation for private networks and electronic communication services
- Licence for radio communication equipment
- Individual Licence to operate/provide reserved universal postal services
- Individual licence to operate/provide universal postal service
- General authorisation for the provision of services, which does not fall under the universal postal services.
